Introduction to Lucy Rose Jewellery

I have been designing and making jewellery with gemstones and crystals for over a year now and I'm just starting to make my way into the semi-professional sphere.

I am inspired by nature and my environment, as well as Japanese, Chinese and Korean textile designs. I'm principally inspired by the materials I work with, as coming from nature they hold a certain wonder for me and are so beautiful even in their raw state that I love combining them to show off their individual attractions to best effect.

In some of my work there is a running theme of tiny stars, and glittering blue goldstone, I'm a big fan of the night sky! Other pieces are very much inspired by the sea and the shoreline, vintage shells, aquamarines, and pearls. Another set of pieces has all the colours and textures of springtime in the woods, greens, browns and yellows, vintage seeds from Africa, textured jasper pieces, even leaves!

I hope you like it, and if you are interested I am always happy to do bespoke pieces for special occasions and gifts. If you give me a colour scheme, some favourite stones,a rough size and a few other specifications I'll design a unique one-off piece for you. Just drop me an email lucywhite@gmail.com.

I currently have two distributors for my jewellery:

Isle Contemporary Applied Arts Gallery, Tynwald Mills, Isle of Man
Sublime, St John's Street, Clerkenwell, London

I am a member of Craft Central and will soon have my page there up and running hopefully!
